TRIMEDX Revamps its Management Team

TRIMEDX has realigned its leadership team to improve upon its customer and operational excellence, and to position the company for future growth.
 
Promotions
Kristi McDermott has been promoted to chief operating officer. McDermott has been with TRIMEDX since 2018 after the company acquired Aramark Healthcare Technologies and has served as chief commercial officer and president of clinical engineering during that time. She has been in the healthcare industry for almost 30 years and in the healthcare technologies industry for 13 years. McDermott earned a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University and an MBA from Maryville University in St. Louis.
 
Rob Moorey has been promoted to president of clinical engineering. Moorey has been with TRIMEDX for more than nine years and has served as senior vice president of customer delivery and division vice president during that time. Before joining TRIMEDX, he spent eight years working for Aramark Healthcare Technologies in various leadership roles and began his career as a U.S. Air Force Biomedical Equipment Technician, stationed at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington, D.C. Moorey earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in healthcare administration from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.
 
New Hires
Jim McCoy has joined TRIMEDX as president of clinical asset management. He will lead the company’s clinical asset management and informatics solution that provides clients opportunities for financial and operational improvement within their clinical asset install base. McCoy most recently worked for GE Healthcare for 26 years, serving in various roles of leadership including comprehensive services executive and asset management consultant. McCoy earned an associate degree in biomedical engineering technology from University of Alabama at Birmingham, a bachelor’s degree in management human resources from Trevecca Nazarene University, and a master’s in international business administration from American InterContinental University.
 
Tom Cooper has been hired as vice president of enterprise customer solutions. Cooper is responsible for initiating, maintaining, and expanding relationships with strategically aligned clients, including key national accounts. He has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry where he held numerous leadership positions in operations, service sales, and national accounts. Most recently, Cooper was the market vice president for GE Healthcare’s portfolio of products for Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Saint Louis University.
